Amittai ben Shephatiah
- (fl. 9th cent.)Italian Hebrew liturgical poet. Several of his poems were incorpo-rated into the Italian and Ashkenazi liturgies. His poems contain references to contemporary Jewish persecutions and Jewish-Christian disputations.
